Glycoprotein characterization by HPLC-ESI-MS and anticancer drug screening and mechanism study

Author

Junnan Chen

Abstract

"In the first part of this study, we established rapid analytical methods for obtaining approximate information of glycans in a given glycoprotein sample. ... In the second part of this study, we investigated the antitumor activity of 1,2-naphthoquinone-2-thiosemicarbazone (NQTS) and its metal complexes (Cu²⁺, Pd²⁺, and Ni²⁺) against MCF-7 human breast cancer cells and possible mechanisms of their action."--Abstract, page iii.
