Engineering geologic site characterization of some major highway bridges in Missouri
Abstract
"The focus of this thesis has been to characterize the engineering geologic conditions of some major highway bridges across the Mississippi and Missouri Rivers in Missouri. This characterization has included assessment of regional geologic information, site specific geologic information, and site specific geotechnical (soils property) information, gathered from subsurface exploration work undertaken for highway bridges, dating back to the 1920s.--Abstract, page iii.
