Preparation of a CoTPP [cobalt (II) tetraphenylporphyrin]-containing hydrocarbon plasma polymer and investigation of its reversible di-oxygen sorption

Abstract

"Trans-2-butene (T2B) plasma polymer films were deposited at various power levels and with varying amounts of Cobalt (II) tetraphenylporphyrin (CoTPP) loading (% w/w). They were characterized by gravimetry, FT-IR, solubility and oxygen sorption. Preliminary studies were also done to calculate the permeability of the plasma polymer thin films."--Abstract, page iii.
