Description
The power of the mind is underestimated. My mind is the most powerful tool I have for the creation of good in my life, but if not used correctly, can be the most destructive force in my life. My mind, more specifically, my thoughts can be my best friends and my worst enemies. Thoughts affect my perception and my interpretation of reality. My thoughts create my own psychological experience, separate from the reality of others. The average person thinks around 70,000 thoughts a day. What I think, I will become, so if I am not careful I could become trapped in my own mind. That is what my painting represents, my mind, thoughts, and the emotions I experience from my thoughts. Purple often represents power, peace, mystery, wisdom, creativity, and etc. Basically all the things our minds represent. Lately I have been trying to find my own peace of mind and I put a lot of thought into this piece!
