Abstract

Some aspects of practical realization of the finite element method (FEM) are considered for solving a two-dimensional (plane) dynamic problem of the theory of elasticity and plasticity. The results of the numerical solution of some problems for dynamic effects are presented. The comparison with the results of other methods is made.
