Prediction Intervals For The Weibull Process
Abstract
Exact prediction intervals, based upon maximum likelihood estimation, for the kth future observation of a Weibull process are derived. For k = 1, an exact, closed-form prediction limit is given. For k > 1, the exact solution, and a simpler approximate prediction limit are both given. © 1978 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
