Fuzzy Logic Approach for Serviceability Evaluation
Abstract
Serviceability evaluation during early design stages is a process of evaluating the product design in terms of ease of service or maintenance during a product usage life cycle. The methodological focus of this study is on evaluating serviceability index using a multi-attribute, fuzzy logic approach. The aim of this study is to offer an evaluation tool that assesses various design alternatives in terms of serviceability.
