System Modeling and Rapid Development
Abstract
The focus of this paper examines the progress of the Systems Modeling Language (SysML) and expands on discussing the successful development of a usable and useful tool. As systems development problems and their solutions become more complex, it is becoming increasingly harder for organizations to meet the current competitive environment. The main problem is that when modifying or developing complex systems, it is hard to determine the solution space and variables that might impact the system. While much progress has been made in the development of requirements elicitation and documentation there is still more to be done.
