Abstract
As technology has rapidly increased, so has the demand for well-trained engineering managers. the engineering management skills needed to succeed in business and industry continues to evolve and includes both organizing and directing people and projects. the American Society of Engineering Management (ASEM) has developed a training and certification program to help enhance and develop these skills. This paper explores both the ASEM training and certification efforts to date. © 2011 IEEE.
