Rapid Product Development
Abstract
A methodology is proposed for rapid product development in a technology intensive environment using pattern level tools. the tools are discussed followed by methodology with examples to show, importance of flowing down of functional requirements into the product system, sub system and piece part level and selection of the best concept and design in terms of functionality and cost. Comment is made on integration of these tools to provide customer perceived quality at low cost in a timely manner.
