A CMOS Log-domain All-pass Filter
Abstract
A first-order log-domain all-pass filter has been designed and simulated in CMOS based on the well-known design of a log-domain low-pass filter. This filter is designed for low-power, low-frequency applications such as' speech/audio processing, delay equalizers and adaptive filtering applications. Simulations predict that the power consumption of the filter will be about 0.9 μW. The all-pass filter's magnitude response stays constant up to 50kHz.
