Lessons Learned About Wireless Technologies for Data Acquisition
Abstract
A system that consists of a structure with an array of smart sensors, preprocess and collect data was demonstrated. The data was posted on the web server for global inspection and manipulation. The system enabled data sharing and collaborative data analysis to extend the knowledge of structural health monitoring. The decisions made to choose the correct set of components while designing a remote data collection system was outlined.
