Abstract
The knowledge of fixed modes plays an important role in the design of decentralized controllers for large scale systems. An approach based on a parametric sensitivity of eigenvalues is proposed to select the information to be exchanged between control stations in order to eliminate decentralized fixed modes. The procedure is illustrated with an example. © 1990.
