Type-2 Fuzzy Identification of a Dynamical System with Unmodeled Fast Dynamics
Abstract
In this article, the identification of a dynamical system with unmodeled fast dynamics using type-1 and type-2 fuzzy sets is considered. After presenting a singular perturbation representation of the dynamical system, type-1 and type-2 fuzzy identification models of the system are derived. The flexibility of a type-2 fuzzy model in terms of adjusting to the new dynamics is presented. The identification results for both models and the advantages of using type-2 fuzzy identification are also discussed.
