Microwave Nondestructive Estimation of Cement Paste Compressive Strength
Abstract
Several microwave frequencies were used to measure the dielectric and reflection properties of four cement paste samples for 27 days. Dielectric properties and reflection coefficients decreased as a function of increasing w/c. Variations in the reflection coefficient and compressive strength followed similar trend. A correlation of compressive strength and reflection coefficient was obtained.
