Fs Laser Fabricated D-Shaped Fiber for Surface Enhanced Raman Scattering Substrate
Abstract
In this paper, femto-second (fs) laser is applied to fabricate D-shaped fiber with sub-micrometer scale surface roughness. After silver thin film deposition, this kind of structure can work as surface enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) substrate by using both up and side exposure methods. High quality SERS signal can be acquired based on this fiber based SERS substrate.
