Abstract
Analysis of the large quantities of velocity and sediment data gathered on the Missouri River has not been undertaken in the past due to the heavy workloads of U.S. Army Corps of Engineers staff. The need to undertake this effort has long been recognized by both the Kansas City District and the Omaha Division. As a result of this need, the Kansas City District, Corps of Engineers, entered into a contract with the curators of the University of Missouri in September 1972. Dr. G. T. Stevens of the University's Rolla campus will be the principal investigator and will perform data analysis on the following measurement stations.
