Post 9-11 Effect on Engineering Education At UMR
Abstract
The effect of the 9-11 terrorist attack and the resulting response of the US government on engineering education at Missouri's main technological campus are discussed. The topic is approached from the perspective of the “life cycle” of engineering education, from recruiting, through advising, research and teaching, to graduation and employment.
