Towards an Integrated and Maintenance-Free Semi-Active Control System with Uninterruptible Power Sources
Abstract
A new semi-active control strategy is presented towards a maintenance-free system that can facilitate its applications. Four challenging issues are discussed, including control efficiency, software and hardware integration, power scavenging, and system monitoring. They present an interdisciplinary research opportunity.
