Propagating Enclosure Method for Energy Radiation System Analysis
Abstract
By introducing the ballooning technique to avoid singularity the propagating enclosure method is developed to solve the energy radiation system, it avoids great difficulties associated with the geometric spreading effect of energy in finite element discretization. As no variables but the displacements in the far region should be stored in computer, so that a complicated problem can easily be solved using IBM-PC computer. Practical examples demonstrate that the method is simple, effective and can be extended to treat the three dimensional or non-homogeneous problems.
