Polyaniline-prussian Blue Novel Composite Material for Electrochromic Applications
Abstract
We report the preparation and characterization of a new composite material consisting of prussian blue (PB) impregnated in surface confined polyaniline (PA). The resulting films show dramatic electrochromic properties, changing from an almost colorless state to a very aesthetically pleasing blue colored state. Such films appear promising as components in electrochromic displays.
