An Approach to the Synthesis of Organically Templated Open-Framework Metal Sulfates by the Amine-Sulfate Route
Abstract
The first organically templated cadmium sulfates, [C4N2H12][CdCl2SO 4]·H2O and [C4N2H12]4[Cd3Cl 10(SO4)2(H2O)]·3H 2O, consisting of infinite linear chains and a quasi-2D layer formed by strip-like units respectively, have been synthesized and characterized.
