Abstract
The spectroscopically determined Hulburt-Hirschfelder (HH) potential has been shown to accurately determine transport properties for atomic systems. This paper is concerned with using the HH potential to calculate the viscosity collision integrals for atom-ion interactions that are important in air at high temperatures. the viscosity collision integrals for the ground state N-N+ and O-O+ interactions at 500°K - 20,000°K have been calculated using the kinetic theory of gases and the results have been compared with previous results.
