Monomeric, Two-coordinate, Univalent Chromium(I) Compounds: Steric Prevention of Metal-metal Bond Formation
Abstract
Monomeric, two-coordinate, univalent, aryl chromium(I) species [(3,5-iPr2-Ar*)Cr(L)] (L = THF, PMe3) have been synthesized with use of a very bulky terphenyl ligand which prevents Cr-Cr bond formation.
