Simple Clean-up Procedures for Determination of Polychlorinated Dibenzo-p-dioxin and Polychlorinated Dibenzofurans in Waste Oil, Soil and Biological Tissue Samples
Abstract
Simple extraction and clean-up procedures for determination of polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins and polychlorinated dibenzofurans in complex samples such as waste oil and waste oil laden soil are described. The removal of large aliphatic constituents in the samples is achieved by partitioning with dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO).
