Abstract
A Reproducible Procedure for Packing Small-Diameter Packed Beds with a Mixture of Fines and Catalyst is Reported. Such Beds Are Essential for Process Catalyst Testing in Trickle-Flow Reactors. Packing Uniformity Along the Bed, Reproducibility of Single-Phase Pressure Drop and Reproducibility of Liquid Holdup and Two-Phase Flow Pressure Drop in Repacked Beds Has Been Demonstrated. © 1995, American Chemical Society.
