Dynamics Contact Lines in Rotating Liquids
Abstract
Dynamic contact lines on a central rotor immersed in a liquid are examined. The profile is affected by hydrodynamics but the contact line does not move. The profile shapes are obtained and examined in the presence of inertial forces for fluids having different bulk and surface rheological properties.
