Abstract

I. SCOPE OF THIS REPORT In the 12th Report, Section III, a method was proposed for the determination of the required strength of collateral attachments. In addition, a test procedure was suggested to test the validity of the theoretical considerations on which this determination was based. In the present report two more formulae are developed which will serve for the experimental verification of this approach. Preparations for these tests are now under way.
