A Neuroscience Analysis of Information Modeling Constructs
Abstract
This research stream uses neuroscience approaches to study information modeling constructs. Information modeling models the problem domains to facilitate understanding and communication during the information systems development process. Accurate representation and interpretation of the information models are vital to the success of information systems projects. The building blocks of information models are the information modeling constructs. The design of modeling construct representations has traditionally been a laissez faire approach and the design is usually based on convenience and intuition rather than rigorous scientific approach. This paper proposes a neuroscience approach using eye-tracking machine to study information modeling constructs.
