Abstract
"The limestones were analyzed to determine their value for cement and lime manufacture, and were taken from several counties in the state of Missouri. Most of the limestones examined were very pure. A considerable quantity of well burned lime is added to other material in the manufacture of cement, a lime of very pure type being the most acceptable in this work"--page 1.
