Abstract
"The method of determining the discharge of large streams is that in which the area of cross section is multiplied by the velocity per. sec. of the water passing through the section. The velocity can be measured by the following methods: 1. By floats. 2. Current Meters. 3. Pitots tube. 4. Can be determined by use of Kutter's formula"--page 1.
