Abstract
"That the tailings piles of the Joplin and the Oklahoma zinc mining fields contain zinc in commercial quantities is a known fact. Realizing this fact, a number of experiments were performed to determine whether or not this zinc could be extracted. The chats for this work were obtained from the Fort Worth Mill at Pitcher, Oklahoma"--Introduction, page 1.
