Perturbative and Nonperturbative Calculations of Electron-Hydrogen Ionization
Abstract
The perturbative continuum distorted wave with eikonal initial state (CDW-EIS) and nonperturbative exterior complex scaling (ECS) calculations for ionization of atomic hydrogen were compared by 54.4-eV electrons. as such, the fully differential cross section for the case where both outgoing electrons which have the same energy was considered. It was found that the two very different theories predict similar results, but differ in overall magnitude by about 30%.
