Abstract
The giant magneto resistive behavior of an antiferromagnetic insulator, LaMnO3, was investigated by studying the effect of simultaneous substitution of Nd and Ca on the compound. the volume of unit cell decreased with increasing concentration of Nd/Ca. the changes in the temperature dependent resistivity, and ferromagnetic transition were observed with the increase in the compound series. the observing of metal-insulator transition at different temperatures, and magnetoresistance in the 2 T applied field were also recorded.
