Angular Differential Cross Sections for Excitation of Atomic Hydrogen by 25-, 50-, and 100-keV Protons
Angular differential cross sections for the process H+ + H(1s ) → H+ (θ ) + H ( n = 2 ) are presented for 25-, 50-, and 100-keV protons incident on atomic hydrogen. The experimental results are in fair agreement with Glauber-approximation calculations.
