Effect of Local Pumping on 1D Random Laser Modes

Abstract

We calculated the quasimodes in one-dimensional random systems and the lasing modes under a global (or local) gain. Local pumping could make the lasing modes differ drastically from the quasidmodes of a weakly scattering system.
