Multi-Valued Elliptic Variational Inequalities on Convex Sets
This chapter deals with general multi-valued elliptic variational inequalities of the abstract form where L ∈ X∗ and the constraints are given by closed convex sets K ⊂ X. Here the sub-supersolution method is developed in its full generality to treat problems that lack coercivity and to prove the existence of extremal solutions which require the elaboration of new and subtle techniques.
