Abstract
"A systematic study using microwaves to facilitate refractory wall thickness measurements under various conditions was conducted with the adaptation of the Frequency-Modulated Continuous-Wave (FM-CW Radar at S-band (2.6 - 3.95 GHz) and X-band (8.2 - 12.4 GHz) and the Time Domain Reflectometry (TDR) Technique at S-band.--Abstract, page iii.
