Observation of Calcium Silicate Hydrate by the Precipitation Method
Abstract
The paper describes the surface morphology of calcium silicate hydrate (C-S-H) spherical particles prepared by the precipitation method. The increase of Ca:Si ratio in the particles led to a morphological change from microbead-like particles to slightly spherical or massive particles, which consists of agglomerates of many fine platy crystallites.
