Abstract

Previous work on the effects of layering a water-in-oil (w/o) microemulsion on water has been documented. the concentration profiles recorded there are analyzed to obtain the fluxes in the interior and the adsorption at the interfaces. Adsorption at the interface shows a lack of equilibrium locally and the fluxes suggest that local equilibrium may not exist in the interior. © 1992.
