Externally-Mounted Louver System for Residential Shading
This study develops an efficient shading device to reduce summer heat gain through glazing and lower residential air-conditioning load. This externally-mounted louver responds to ambient temperature, and thus represents a contribution to passive cooling technology. The paper presents the results of the experimental investigation.
