High Thermal Expansion Phosphate Glasses. Part 1
Abstract
The aim of the present paper was to give experimental results of the most effective ways of improving the chemical durability of glass. Phosphate glasses whose thermal expansion and chemical durability make them suitable for sealing to high-expansion metals, such as aluminum alloys and stainless steels, may be improved by addition of oxides, such as alumina.
