This map was compiled from detailed magnetometer surveys in which observations were taken at one mile intervals (usually section corners) and from surveys in which observations were taken at intervals of two miles along highways and improved county roads.
Scale 1: 500,000
Gives magnetic intensities by isolines. Contour interval 100 gammas.
Shows county boundaries, cities, towns, railroads, parks and water features.
