Abstract

"The objectives of this investigation include the following: (1) to map the distribution of the igneous and sedimentary rocks, (2) to investigate the structure and lithology of these rocks and to determine their sequence, (3) to determine the stratigraphic position of the sedimentary rocks relative to known Missouri formations, (4) to determine the igneous rock types, and (5) to investigate the distribution and occurrences of economic minerals"--Purpose of Investigation, Page 6.
