Abstract

"The objective of this research work is to develop an easy-to-use graphical user interface (GUI) based software package that facilitates the documentation and communication of the decision process involved in functionally flowing down the customer requirements to various levels of a product. The primary tools implemented are Quality Function Deployment, Function Analysis Systems Technique, Axiomatic Design, Pugh's Concept Selection Process, and Value Analysis"--Abstract, page iii.
