Effects of grinding on the surface characteristics of granular activated carbon used in rapid small scale column tests

Abstract

"This work investigates the surface characteristics of different sieve fractions of six commercial GACs prepared using different grinding techniques. It should be noted that only the outer 10% of a GAC was ground in almost all cases. Thus, this work only addresses variability in sieve fractions in the outer portion of the GAC."--Abstract, page iv.
