Message from EATA Symposium Chairs
Welcome to the 43rd IEEE Computer Society Signature Conference on Computers, Software, and Applications (COMPSAC), and 3rd COMPSAC Symposia on Emerging Advances in Technology & Applications (EATA) in Milwaukee, USA. EATA uniquely positions itself to be a forum for researchers, practitioners, and educators to present recent findings, innovations, theories, methodologies, and practical experiences in broad area of emerging advances in technologies and applications that leverage today's convergence of massive information sources, powerful analysis techniques, and nearly instant access from any point on the globe.
The paper selection process for this year's EATA was rigorous and was made possible because of an outstanding program committee of 30 researchers. EATA received a total of 10 papers. TPC accepted 3 full papers. Additionally, we also accepted 2 papers as concise papers. Each paper was assigned to at least three program committee members and during the review process we asked for additional reviews as necessary. The reviews were made available to the whole COMPSAC committee members in March 2019 for discussion.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the authors, who submitted their valuable research results to EATA, the members of the Program Committee and external reviewers whose dedicated and expert review is the foundation of the rich program assembled for EATA 2019. We also would like to extend our special thanks to the COMPSAC steering committee, General Chairs, and Program Chairs-in-Chief. We wish you an exciting conference and a pleasant stay in Milwaukee, USA.
