Critical Success Factors of Location-Based Services
Abstract
The objective of this study is to gain a comprehensive and holistic understanding of the critical success factors of location-Based services. Electronic brainstorming technique was used to gather the opinions of an expert group of practitioners, researchers, and users on the critical success factors of location-Based services. by grouping similar factors together based on past literature, 15 categories of critical success factors were identified. Information quality, personalizable or preference setting, and privacy are the three most mentioned critical success factors. for the next stage of this research, students will be recruited to rank and rate these critical success factors. the results of this research will highlight potential areas for research and development, and provide guidelines for practitioners to formulate strategies to increase consumer adoption. © 2012 by the AIS/ICIS Administrative Office All rights reserved.
