Scholars’ Mine Statistics
Abstract
The referrals by country report shows the the top level country domain for sites that have directed users to cholars' Mine. Over the years, fewer and fewer browsers and search engines have passed along referral information, so this report now includes only a small fraction of repository traffic. This is why the numbers reported in Referrals reports will be lower than in Hits reports. Additionally, report will not include any referrals from three-letter domains, such as .com, .edu, or .org, as these referrals are assumed to come from sites in the United States. Wikipidia provides a complete list of country domain codes.
