Abstract

"The Frood Mine lies about two and one half miles north of the City of Sudbury, Ontario. The Frood deposit was among the first discoveries in the district, but was not considered as a very important deposit until 1925, when a deep drilling campaign disclosed higher grade ore with depth"--page 3.
